1) Možeš li se ukratko predstaviti našoj publici?
Hi! Ja sam Andre Judd i ja sam modni stilist i dizajner modnih dodataka.
[ENG: 1) Could you shortly introduce your work to our audience?
Hi! I'm Andre Judd and I'm a fashion stylist and accessories designer.]
2) Jedna si od najzanimljivijih ličnosti na LB – u. Uistinu, imaš mnogo fanova. A tko su fashion ikone kojima se ti diviš? Netko s LookBooka, iz celebrity krugova, ili čak modne elite?
Hvala! Osobno, doista nemam modnu ikonu, ali cijenim dosta članova LookBooka i modnu industriju, jer svatko nudi jedinstvenu viziju kada dođe do dizajniranja, mode i osobnog stila.
[ENG: 2) You are one of the most interesting figures on LB. Indeed, you have so many fans. And who are the fashion icons that you admire?Either somebody from lookbook, or from the celebrity circles, or maybe even fashion elite?
Thank you! I dont really have personal fashion icons but I have a huge respect for a lot of the members in lookbook and in the fashion industry because each offer a unique vision when it comes to designing, fashion and personal style.]
3) Što s ostalim ikonama? Tko ima jak utjecaj na tebe iz svijeta glazbe, filma, teatra i ostalog?
Ne smatram jednu osobu, film ili glazbu velikom inspiracijom jer mene sve inspirira. Može to biti emocija, boja, novi miris ili hrana koju sam nedavno jeo. Razna su iskustva kombinirana kako bi stvorila novu ideju u mojoj glavi.
[ENG: 3) What about other icons? Who`s got a huge influence on you in theworld of music, movie theaters and other?
I dont consider one single person, movie, or music to be a huge inspiration because for me everything inspires me. It could be an emotion, a color, a new scent or a food I recently ate. There are different experiences combined to create a new idea inside my head.]
4) Ti si i dizajner cipela i linije kupaćih kostima, gdje nalaziš inspiraciju za te kolekcije?
Za kolekcije dobivam inspiracije i za temu i za dizajn. Za raspoloženje ili temu sam inspiriran duhom vremena. Za dizajn sam inspiriran materijalima, bojom i teksturama.
[ENG: 4) You are also a shoe and swimsuit line designer, from where do you get the inspiration for those collections?
For the collections I get inspirations for both the mood/theme and for the designs. For the mood or theme I am inspired by the zeitgeist. With the designs, I get inspired by materials, color and textures.
5) Posjeduješ modni Tumblr, jesi li zadovoljan količinom posjetitelja svoje stranice?
Da budem iskren, ne provjeravam posjetitelje ili broj ili broj posjeta stranice. Samo stavim svoje lookove tamo jer je to cool način izraziti svoju viziju kroz stajling.
[ENG: 5) You own a fashion Tumblr, are you satisfied with the amount of visitors on that page?
Well to be honest, I don't check my visitors or the number of page views.I just put my looks out there because it is a cool way to express your vision thru styling.]
6) S obzirom da si modna ikona, ne bi se puno ljudi usudilo dati ti kritiku, ali opet, kako se nosiš s time?
Ne možete ugoditi svakome. Što je bitno, ja nastavljam podržavati svoje kolege s LookBooka, nastavljam podržavati modni talent, i napredak u modi.
[ENG: 6) Keeping in mind that you are considered a fashion icon, not many people would dare to give you a bad critic, but still, how do you handle those?
You can't please everybody. What is important is I continue to support my fellow members in LookBook, continue to support fashion talent and to keep fashion moving forward.]
7) Tvoje kombinacije su toliko avangardne da se pitamo gdje pronalaziš odjeću? Prosvijetli nas!
Ja dobivam svoju odjeću od raznih izvora. Većina je šivana po mjeri, ili dogovoreni komadi. Neki komadi su kupljeni sa stalaka trenutnih kolekcija dizajnera. Neki su iz lokalnih maloprodajnih trgovina, i vintage.
[ENG: 7) Your combinations are so avangarde that we wonder where do you find the clothes for them? Enlighten us!
I get my clothes from different sources. Most of them are custom made/bespoke pieces. Some of them are bought off the rack from current collections of designers. A few are from local retail stores, and vintage.]
8) Što misliš o ljudima koji se strogo drže pravila u modi? Smatraš li ih dosadnima?
Mislim da mi imamo svoj osobni set pravila ili vodilja. Saznaj što najbolje tebi odgovara. Netko može raditi po tvojim principima, a opet ih nadmašiti.
[ENG: 8) What do you think about people that strictly hold on to certainprinciples in fashion? Do you consider them boring?
I think we have our own set of rules or guidelines. Figure out what best works for you. One can work with your own principles and still excel from it.]
9) Kako si ušao u svijet mode? Je li te netko pogurao, ili si sam zaslužan za sve?
Ušao sam u modnu industriju kada sam pobijedio na natjecanju mladih dizajnera Cebu. Ali moja ljubavna afera s modom u globalu je počela kada sam bio jako mlad i podržan od strane obitelji.
[ENG: 9) How did you enter the world of fashion? Did somebody give you a little push, or can you take all of the credit?
I entered the fashion industry when i won the Cebu Young Designer's Competition. But my love affair with fashion in general started when I was very young nurtured by a very supportive family.]
10) Tko te slika? Imaš li jednog pomagača ili više njih? Predstavi nam ih, tako da izađu iz sjene.
Svi moji posljednji snimci su nastali samostalno. Neki lookovi ranije su snimani od strane mojih kolega i prijatelja.
[ENG: 10) Who takes your photographs? Do you have only one helper or more? Introduce them please, so they can come out of the shadow.
All my recent looks are shot by me. There have been a handful of looks prior to that which were shot by a number of colleagues and friends.]
